WHO WE ARE.....

Ghana Diamond Winners Association is heard-quartered in Akwatia, Ghana. The G.D.W.A. is very important in the Ghana as a whole. And looks forward to the contribution to the good development of the nation.

HISTORY OF GHANA ROUGH DIAMONDS.
Ghana currently produces about 500,000 carats of rough diamonds annually. This is made up of 75% industrial diamonds and 25% gems. Diamonds are mainly produced by private Diamond Winners which include individual small scale mining companies.
GHANA GOLDBOD is responsible for purchasing and marketing of the country's diamonds. This is done in strict compliance with Kimberly Process Certificate Scheme (KPCS) requirements. 
The immediate past chairperson or a representation of the association of the BOD of the GHANA GOLDBOD, is an Ex-Officio Member of the Association.

AIM

To promote the general welfare of Diamond buyers and diggers so as to continue to the social economic development of Ghana.

To foster PEACE, UNITY, AND SELF DEVELOPMENT among members.

IN ADDENDUM,

To protect the rights of each member in the small scale Diamond industry.

ALSO,

To co-orperate with the government in the fight against environmental degradation, illegal wining methods and smuggling of Ghana Diamonds.

IN CONCLUSION,

To educate the mining communities on the best practices of artisanal diamond mining so as to make a positive impact on the well-being of the citizenries in our catchment communities. {digging and covering up the holes so that the land can be reused as a farmland for agricultural sustainability}.

OUR VISION AND COMMITMENT

We believe that all relationships with our partners, clients and employees are mutually beneficial and relevant. 
We fulfil the commitments made, always believing and hoping that everyone who is, directly and indirectly, part of Ghana Diamonds Winners Association (G.D.W.A) has this same objectives. Our noble team works as a whole, occasionally integrating external elements, who are seen as equals, with rights and relevant duties.

GOLDBOD MEETINGS 

Meeting between Ghana Gold Board Diamond Committee members, having KPC review meeting with the executives of Ghana Diamond Winners Association at Akwatia Belgium Diamond Market.

The meeting visitation was between representatives from Goldbod, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Minerals Commission, Ghana Diamond Winners Association and the international observers from Kimberly Processing Certificate Scheme (KPCS).

THE CHAIRMAN

Mr. Isaac Amable, the general Chairman of Ghana Diamond Winners Association is the rightfully elected Chairman of the G.D.W.A. He has therefore contributed massively to the development of the nation and he therefore, has also joined the fight against illegal mining in Ghana and smuggling of the precious minerals out the  country. He continues to promote legitimate deals in the country and many more.

THE VICE CHAIRMAN

Mr .Isaac Anu. The Vice Chairman of Ghana Diamond Winners Association, has contributed in soo many ways in the enhancement and upliftment of the G.D.W.A. He works hand in hand with the other executives to promote and to enhance the legal deal in the Precious minerals across the country. He therefore believes in transparency, unity, truthfulness as the way forward.

THE GENERAL SECRETARY

Mr. Eric Pinamang Asare.The Elected General Secretary of the Ghana Diamond Winners Association has contributed in the development of the nation as a whole. His dedications and commitments has been widely recognized by the G.D.W.A. The secretary has been awarded for his hard works and he looks forward to do more, for the G.D.W.A and the Ghana GOLDBOD.
